Project 1_Eli Legg
In my project I chose to experiment with low lighting and color techniques, all the while using a vertical format. Using a 52mm lens and a low ƒ/1.8, I was able to capture myself in focus and blur the background of the shot.
Using the lumetri color tool, I was able to take the grain out of the image by dipping the contrast, highlights, shadows, and whites to the lowest setting, while boosting the blacks in the image. With these settings it makes the unlit portions of the image blend together and allow for me to boost the exposure and change the white balance settings to give a blue-violet hue to those areas. I also keyframed the entire shot to move slowly to the right under the motion effect controls.
