Week 2 Response -- Bentley Hendrix

 Kiesza - Hideaway

This video focuses around a group of people, traveling in front of them and following them through the street. The group dances the whole time, and the camera uses a variety of closeness and angles to enhance the viewer's engagement while also positively enhancing the music. I liked that the video was fast-paced; the camera never stayed in one position for long, so it was easy for me to stay interested in the video and the song that was playing. It was very obviously choreographed, each dancer moving extremely cohesively and knowing when to enter/leave each frame. The main singer is the only one that stays constant in the video, the camera following her the entire video. I think this video could be helpful for my video idea because it shows a lot of different ways that you can only take one shot, while still keeping the viewer engaged and interested in what is happening.
