I chose to look at Kiesza's "Hideaway". 

This was a song and video that I was already familiar with. I watched it years ago and I used to really enjoy the song. Looking at the video again shows me why I really like the music video. While the simple one-shot matches the simple and repetitive lyrics, it just felt too monotone. The panning and zooming of the camera were very clear but it was too boring. 

I think she wanted to play with colors. There were bright and fun outfits and clothes that contrasted with regular residents in the background but also blended in with the graffiti style.

The style is more related to video art than film. There isn't a definitive plot or conflict. It reminded me of a scene of some sort of musical.
