Week_6_Response_Kenneth Cage

 I chose to watch the God Is Design video made by Adel Abdessemed.

This video is very simplistic in terms of medium. The digital animation only uses black lines and it feels very handmade. It doesn't feel like a computer did it but rather a person taking their time to create every single line. However, in terms of composition and subject, it was a little more complex. Although there wasn't any color, the lines were in motion which was a way to grab the attention of the audience. The transitions were very smooth but very unpredictable, in a good way. At no point in time did I know what was coming next and I liked that. The music by Silvia Ocougne is a very fitting choice. The different elements in the music match with the complex patterns on-screen. It also feels mysterious and a little eerie, further emphasizing the unpredictability of the video.
