Week11_Response_Garrett Joyce

 For this week's video, I chose to watch "Sun Boxes" by Craig Colorusso. Erin Dixon posted this video from session A and I thought the concept of the piece was very interesting. The video starts by showing 20 speakers with solar panels powering them. Each other speaker is playing different guitar cords on loop at different lengths. As the installation happens different patterns start because the sounds start overlapping. I like how the exhibition is outside and the sounds echo through the park. I also like how the work evolves so you are never knowing what to expect the sounds to sound like. Overall, I thought the installation was unique and made a sound in a way I have never seen.
