Week 3_response_Garrett Joyce

    While watching the videos for this week, the three by Raven Kwok stood out to me. My favorite out of the three was Time because I liked the way he used small numbers to showtime. The sound effect over the piece made it come together because the clicking is constant like a clock. Every second pops up in different sizes and self-organizes the display to show the current time. 

    I think this idea of showing time is very interesting because we get caught up in the world and forget about time even though it is passing by. This work reminds me of the stock market and time square with the bright colors and fast-moving numbers. My favorite part of this work is how the numbers automatically know where to go and what size to be to contribute to the artwork as a whole. All of these little aspects make this artwork unique.
