Week 3 Video Response Brandon Levin

 My video critique for this week is on Rule 110 by Raven Kwok. I found Kwok's video to be very entertaining and up-lifting. I enjoyed how the music was synched up to the "elementary cellular automatons" and with every beat grew or changed a new form of the cells. I was fascinated how the entire video was created using a program called "processing" which is ultimately a computer generated sketchbook. The video also flows smoothly and in a directional pattern allowing the viewer to view the video in a story-like way. The colors also matched up well to the beat providing the viewer with more vibrant colors as the beat progressed and more neutral colors as the beat stayed the same. I also enjoyed the clips of the video below the initial video showing the progression and the different forms of the cells throughout.
