Week_3_Response_Simons

This week I am reacting to Jan-M. Iversen - Harmegås. Frankly, this is the kind of thing that makes people lose all respect for artists. The floor had two square shapes mapped out on it, and the man in the clip spent the entirety of the video walking slowly around the outer square, forward and back. In my opinion, this doesn't qualify as any kind of art. I strongly disliked it. In addition to the odd premise, the video was unnecessarily long, there was no flair to the editing or visuals, and the man's pose also bothered me. I suppose I may have missed the deeper meaning of this video, and I may need to study it more to figure out what the artist wanted to say with this work.
