Korei Curtis Week 5 Response

 For this week I went with the video "Pretty Girl" by Rhyon Brown, which was made in 2017. I love anything that has drama to it and this, being a 30 minute video and all, had a lot of drama in it. Basically the video is a whole album of music and stories put into one thing, a huge montage with a story. It stars Rhyon Brown who was a teen actor-turned- college student. From wild nights on what looks like fraternity row, to heartbreak at the hands of supposed "Prince Charming", I believe this is her journey to find herself and what makes her happy. I also believe this is where she learned that being "famous" or labeled as the "pretty girl" isn't what it is made out to be. I connected with this video a lot because I'm still on the journey to find myself as well. The visuals of the whole video made it seem personal but also not personal to me. Love the montage of her and her friends having fun the car and when partying etc. All around visual effects, sound (music), and camera shots helped portray the message I just said above a lot. Very cool video.
