Week 5 Response -- Bentley Hendrix

 Doug Aitkin's Migration (2009)

This video shows scenes of animals that you would definitely not normally see within a city exploring a motel room. It depicts the animals and their natural tendencies; the beaver was playing in the water and trying to figure out the spigot. The mountain lion was chewing and ripping the bed sheets and pillows. I thought this video was extremely interesting just because you never see these animals in any setting associated within human society. It was fascinating watching them explore the rooms. In nature documentaries, you can see these animals up close, but it is only in their natural environments, so it was intriguing to see society and nature collide. Each animal brought a new level of curiosity as to how the animal would respond, so I was engaged the entire video.
