Week 5 -- Troy Britts

 I chose the video Migration by Doug Aitken for this week's response. I really liked the way the video was directed. I thought it was a cool concept of having wild animals in a tame human environment such as the hotel room. I liked how seeing the animals in this scene were just curious about their surrounding, making messes, but also not caring about what they do. I think that the music was a good selection for the piece but what made the video were the cuts. The cuts between each room worked so well together and having the animals move a the same speed was cool. The panther was not moving faster than the beaver, and I think that is a little detail that brought the whole video together.
