Week 5_Respone_Allison Myers

 This week, I chose to comment on Doug Aitken's "Migration."

I really enjoyed this work. The music, set-up, and silence of not having voice over or the sound of the animals in the room seemed to give it an almost ominous or uneasy feeling. I feel like that was the intention though, I feel like this art piece was kind of created to show the relationship of industrial and natural and how they interact. After watching the three minute clip, I wonder what the full installation looked like.
