Week 5_Response_Alex Langmann

 For this week, I decided to check out the movie trailer that was linked in the document, the Bong Joon Ho film, Parasite. The trailer makes use of some awesome camera movement to portray scenes that seem relatively normal, and the music that accompanies the scenes is light and airy. As soon as something is expected to be off, there is text on the screen signaling this change, as well as the music changes. The scenes become darker, and there is more hinting of darker themes. The pacing begins to change, with scenes flashing more and more quickly. Overall, the trailer paints a light movie that turns extremely dark, and as someone who has not seen the movie, it makes me interested to watch it. The font used for the subtitles is bold enough to be read, but light enough not to distract from the movie itself. Overall, this is an amazing piece of art.
