WEEK_4_RESPONSE_SIMONS

This week, I am covering Michael W. Smith's music video for his song, "Love Always Wins". This video was a lyric video more so than a music video. The visuals were simply a compilation of people at ministries, both those in need and the ones helping them. There were also clips of people praising God and preaching. All in all, the source videos were typical of a Christian organization, but this is by no means a bad thing. Overlaid on these clips were the lyrics to Smith's song. I like this choice, as it gives the viewer a clear reminder of the content of the song. It's easy to watch the clips and ignore the song, so having a reminder of the words is nice. Overall, it is a pretty standard Christian music clip, and I liked it.
