     My video response for this week's film is "Migration by Doug Aitken." I enjoyed this film for its cinematography, uniqueness and openness to nature. The video began as an art instillation with people  gathering under what appeared to be a tent, watching animals live in a motel setting.As the video progressed, the tent was empty, showing just the film and the animals. I enjoyed hoe the film has jump cuts from various different scenes of animals adapting to a motel. For example, the beaver swimming in the bathtub or the bobcat tucking itself into bed. I think this film tells a story of how we're invading into animals' habitats by building things such as motels and the film is showing the animals 'migrating' into these structures. I found the film to be not only humorous but informative as well. We as humans need to be in consideration of the animals' territories we trench upon by building our 'commodities.'
