 I watched the "Kidding" official trailer.

This trailer for this show seems to be psychological. It looks like Jim Carrey is playing a character that is supposed to inspire others, especially children. It seems like his character is working as someone who inspires and advises people to not even follow his everyday life. I think the aim of this show is to tell a story of a man who overcomes psychological and societal pressures. It also seems like there is a hopeful undertone to the movie. 

There's a quote in the trailer that says "You are a man in a box. You're a trusted brand. No one sees man.". This stuck out to me because it felt like Carrey's character is going to flip that around and prove the man wrong. Since it leans towards a more inspiring approach, I think it's safe to say that this character will not be in a box.
