Week 10_Response_Garrett Joyce

     For this week's video, I chose Control Room - Interactive Sound Art.  This video shows an installation that uses the flicker effect to show the noise happening around it. I liked how this video focused on the sound of the video. The squares appeared consistent based on how long the sound went on. I think this is unusual because most videos base the music around the video. The video used sounds from the street like car horns, sirens, elevators, construction, etc. The sounds were very loud and present making them stand out even more. The squares were different shades of red with a black background, which gave more emphasis on the squares and how long they appeared for. Overall, this video was simple, yet was consistent with its delivery.
