Week_11_Response_Simons

In Session A, someone posted a Taio Cruz - Dynamite a cappella video.

The man in the video uses only his voice to make every sound in the song. I think this is a pretty interesting take on "sound art" because it bring up many questions in terms of definitions. Is this even sound art? And if it is, doesn't just music in general count as well? My video for the assignment was more abstract, and it used a physical installation to compliment people's experience with the eerie sound stimulation. This clip was just an a cappella cover song, but I really don't see anything wrong with that. It speaks to the diversity of sound and how we can use it artistically.
