I chose to go to the Channel Noise Recital. It had a very diverse selection of performances. I was expecting more electronic-based demonstrations and experimentation, but it was more of a mix. There were people who used technology as a focal point in their performances but there were others who used instruments to try and convey the same energy. Some were very melodic and were somewhat covers of existing songs. However, many were psychological in nature, requiring you to think about the deeper meaning. While there was a similar theme throughout the entire recital, each performance created a different emotion.
