Project 3 -- Bentley Hendrix

 

In this picture, I was beginning the process of placing the videos where I thought they fit best within the sound. I tried to make the videos match the feeling that the music created.

I continued editing videos together, shortening them and rearranging them. I also added an overlay reminiscent of a home video camera to create a nostalgic feel.

I kept my audio mostly unedited; I grew up with my mom playing piano, so I asked her to send me a video of her playing one of my favorite compositions. I tried to surround the visuals around the sound and the way it makes you feel.

I chose to start and end the video with the original visual clip; I thought this added to the nostalgia factor, as the end brings you back to the present moment.
